Purchasing, Access, and Refunds
The All-Access Package includes one Barrister Full Exam (160 questions), one Solicitor Full Exam (160 questions), Professional Responsibility Question Set #1 (60 questions), Professional Responsibility Question Set #2 (60 questions), and Professional Responsibility Question Set #3 (60 questions), for a total of 500 questions.
Each included product comes with three attempts during the active access period. This means the All-Access Package includes 15 total attempts across the package.
We typically offer a coupon code approximately 4 to 6 weeks before the end of each exam period. Active coupon codes are announced on our Instagram page, @accessbarprep.
Coupon codes must be entered at checkout while active. We do not offer coupons outside of these promotional periods.
You can access your purchased materials immediately after completing your purchase. Log in to your account, click Exams on the top bar of the page, select your exam, and click “I Agree to These Terms” to start.
You will have access for 90 days from the date of purchase. This applies whether you purchase an individual product or a bundled package. Your access will expire after 90 days regardless of whether you have used all of your attempts.
We are unable to extend, pause, split, or defer the 90-day access period. We apply this policy consistently to all users to keep things fair.
If you are writing the Barrister and Solicitor exams in different sittings, we recommend either purchasing the Barrister and Solicitor Full Exams separately, or purchasing the Barrister & Solicitor Bundle or All-Access Package closer to the date of your first exam so that you can make full use of your 90-day access period.
No. Access to the All-Access Package is valid for 90 days from the date of purchase and cannot be split, paused, deferred, or extended to cover a later exam sitting.
If your Barrister and Solicitor exams are scheduled in different sittings, we recommend purchasing the specific product you need closer to each exam date.
All sales are final, and we do not provide refunds for purchased exams or question sets.
If you believe you were accidentally charged twice for the same intended purchase, please contact us with both order numbers and we will address the issue.
Attempts and Exam Use
Each purchased Barrister Full Exam, Solicitor Full Exam, and Professional Responsibility Question Set includes three attempts during the active 90-day access period.
For the All-Access Package, you receive three attempts for each included product: three attempts for the Barrister Full Exam, three attempts for the Solicitor Full Exam, and three attempts for each of Professional Responsibility Sets #1, #2, and #3.
No. The exams and question sets are not timed by the platform. There is an optional timer feature that you may use to simulate exam conditions, but the platform does not impose a mandatory time limit or automatically submit your exam.
We recommend keeping your browser tab open while completing an attempt. The platform can save answers as you complete the exam. However, closing, refreshing, or leaving the page may interrupt your attempt or review process.
If you experience a technical issue, please try to re-access the same exam through your account before starting a new attempt.
Our testing platform includes several useful features, including an optional timer, bookmarking, a calculator, saved answers during an attempt, and the ability to review submitted attempts while your membership remains active.
Results and Review
Yes. After you finish a mini or paid exam, you will be directed to the Results page. The Results page shows your overall score and how you performed on each section. You will also be able to see detailed explanations for each question, including references to applicable statutes or case law where relevant.
Submitted attempts can be reviewed while your membership remains active through the Previous Attempts dropdown.
You can review a previous submitted attempt in either of the following ways:
(a) When starting an exam, go to the Start an Exam Attempt page. At the bottom of that page, below the I Agree to These Terms button, use the Previous Attempts dropdown, select the attempt you want to review, and click View.
(b) On the Results page, use the Previous Attempts dropdown at the top of the page, select the attempt you want to review, and click View.
If the Results page fails to load or you are taken to a different attempt, try using the Previous Attempts dropdown to select the specific attempt you want to review.
If you are still unable to access the correct attempt, contact us with the email address used for your account, the exam name, and a brief description of the issue.
Materials and Updates
Our materials are updated every year between late April and early May. We may also refresh questions throughout the year as needed.
If you are preparing for a new cycle and want the updated questions, we recommend waiting until our updates are complete before purchasing. Early-bird discounts, when available, are announced on our Instagram page, @accessbarprep.
Yes. The questions in our purchased exams and Professional Responsibility question sets are completely different from the questions in our free mini exams.
There is currently one version of the paid Barrister Full Exam and one version of the paid Solicitor Full Exam. The All-Access Package does not include multiple versions of the same full exam.
There are multiple Professional Responsibility question sets, and each set is uniquely labelled: Professional Responsibility Set #1, #2, and #3.
Technical Issues
This may happen because of saved progress from a prior incomplete attempt or because of a browser/cache issue. Please clear your browser cache and try again. You may also try using a different browser.
If the issue persists, contact us and include the email address used for your account and the exam name.
For the exam to be submitted and registered as an attempt, you must click Finish & View Results on the final question.
If you can still see your saved answers when you return to the exam, go to the final question and click Finish & View Results. If you cannot see your answers or cannot submit the exam, please contact us.
Product Scope and Restrictions
No. Our materials are available for use through our online platform only. Printing, copying, distributing, reproducing, or otherwise sharing the exams, questions, answers, or explanations is not permitted.
No. Our practice exams are currently available in English only.
No. We currently offer practice exams and question sets only. We do not offer tutoring or one-on-one exam preparation services.
No. Access Bar Prep currently offers practice materials for the Ontario Barrister and Solicitor licensing exams only.
